Entry Requirements | A candidate shall submit a referee report from an employer or senior colleague (on company letterhead) and a resume; and (a) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a non-relevant discipline and at least two years of full-time equivalent relevant professional experience*; or (b) hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor qualification or above in a relevant discipline** and at least two years of full-time equivalent relevant professional experience*; or (c) hold an approved AQF Level 6 Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline** from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and have at least four years of full-time equivalent relevant professional experience*; or (d) hold an approved AQF Level 5 Diploma in a relevant discipline** from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and have at least six years of full-time equivalent relevant professional experience*; or (e) have at least five years of full-time equivalent relevant professional experience*. *Relevant professional experience refers to a position of responsibility in any organisational or industry context. **Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to, Business, Management, Leadership, Human Resources Management, Economics, Finance and Accounting. |

Advanced Standing | Candidates admitted under Rules (a) and (e) are referred to the University Policy on Advanced Standing. The maximum advanced standing granted shall be for units counting 12 credit points which were not part of the degree on which admission was based. This may include up to 6 credit points of unspecified advanced standing for experiential learning, such as management/supervisory work experience which is in addition to the work experience used as the basis of admission. Candidates admitted under Rules (b) and (c) shall be granted a maximum of 12 credit points of Block Advanced Standing based on their admission to candidature. Candidates admitted under Rule (d) shall be granted a maximum of 6 credit points of Block Advanced Standing based on their admission to candidature. Candidates are referred to the University Policy on Advanced Standing. The maximum additional Advanced Standing shall be for units counting 6 credit points which were not part of the degree on which admission was based. |

The period of candidature for candidates admitted under Rule (d) shall be:
(a) 0.5 years as a full-time candidate;
(b) up to one and a half years as a part-time candidate.
Course Requirements
To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 24 credit points with at least 18 credit points at 400-level or above.

Students need to reflect on the principles of professional and social responsibility and critically apply these to a range of ethical issues and scenarios.
